Bird Watching  The last Thursday (20th February 2025) ; Our class had a walking safari from Moshi Institute Of Technology, with a primary activity of bird watching. Our destination were the area with a spring (chemchem ya Mto Njoro) where we had a class about water table, formation of springs (chemchem) and class for rocks.  The class was interesting because the story of springs is a geographic tourist attraction that upon hiking to the  roof of Africa, a guide must have explanation on that. The story at the chemchem ended and then next was the birdwatching where we enjoyed seeing the pied wagtail birds, the trumpeter hornbills, weavers, sparrow, kingfisher, pied crow, red winged starling, African pitta etc.  our walk to Msalanga street then Majengo back to Moshi town built our enjoyment in everything as far as tourism concerns. we are delighted to invite everyone interested to learn about birds.

We as a tourism class, we fall in love with nature, and nature was our valentine on this 14 February of 2025 for we had a nature walk to The River Karanga. Our walking safari started from Moshi Institute of Technology, to Shant town then to The river Karanga and we enjoyed having the beautiful view of the mountain Kilimanjaro, old bridges flora and fauna. We were happy to enjoy bird watching where we managed to see so many species of birds such as red winged starling, the ring necked dove, hawks, trumpet hornbill, shrikes, the Hadada Ibis etc. We had a moment to refresh, making stories, swimming, and having pictures, and visiting Maimoria market.
